   Proposal Description:
   The Wellderly cohort recruits individuals at least age 80 years with no history of diabetes, myocardial infarction, stroke, autoimmune disease, or cancer (excluding simple skin).  The goal of the present study is to compare the APOE e4 allele and genotype frequencies of a cognitively normal cohort, matched by age and race, to the Wellderly.  Specifically, we will use the data from the NACC subjects to construct expected APOE e4 allele and genotype frequencies and compare this expectation to the observed APOE e4 allele and genotype frequencies in ~1000 Wellderly participants.
